Rudolf Clausius, a German physicist, came up with this term in 1855. It refers to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which states that whenever energy is used to create order within a closed system, disorder always increases outside the system. Entropy is a Greek word which means "transformation" or "evolution". Einstein said, "It is the only physical theory of universal content which I am convinced will never be overthrown".
