- Bacteria account for 13%.
- Ocean life accounts for just 1%.
- Humans are just 0.01%.
Indicators of human impact:
- Of all mammals, 96% are livestock and humans.
- Of all birds, 70% are chicken and poultry. 30% are wild.
Relative to humans, there are:
- 3 times more viruses
- 3 times more worms
- 12 times more fish
- 17 times more insects
- 200 times more fungi
- 1200 times more bacteria
- 7500 times more plants
