# Ring 1 ## 1.1.5 - Greeting Customs Elements of greetings - Wiping off dust from the road - Orientation to the space - contributes to sense of safety - Sensing when everyone's ready to start ## 1.2.6 - Errands We learn to pay better attention when we do things on our own. ## 1.3.6 - Peer Bonding In modern times, the play date is the antithesis of this cultural pattern. Peer bonding is timeless and unsupervised by adults. The sign of peer bonding happening is **unconditional listening** (*the South attribute*) The result of adult peer bonding is an electrical union where synchronicity happens. We had this when we were kids, but lost it when we entered the adult, professional world. Children are able to play with each other even though their stories of the world don't match up. We should have 3 occasions of unconditional listening per day, and a community of 20-25 unconditional listeners. This is the heartbeat of mentoring. A mentor is able to pull on a story wtihout judgment unti it grows, increasing a person's confidence. A healthy culture has people who have the capacity to be peer mentors - not teachers, advisors, etc. ## 1.4.6 - Sit Spot ## 1.5.6 - Culture of Allowance ## 1.6.6 - Wiping off the Road Dust ## 1.7.6 - Sensitive Conduct ## 1.8.6 - Bird Language # Ring 2 ## 2.1.6 - Regalia ## 2.2.6 - Child Passions ## 2.3.6 - The Art of Questioning ## 2.4.6 - Timeless Wandering ## 2.5.6 - Facilitating Individuality ## 2.6.6 - Aunties & Uncles ## 2.7.6 - Connection to Place ## 2.8.6 - Humor
