That's why I'm drawn to the lens of gifting. - "My need, when you are aware of it, creates the capacity and willingness in you to address my need." - For those of us conditioned by exchange, it is much more difficult to receive without giving, than to give without receiving, because then we will be in debt, and could become a slave. - Just as money in exchange stands over gifting and obscures it, so "deserving" sits over needs and obscures it. - The concept of deserving runs the exchange economy.
